America has spoken, and it is change they want. When it comes to wide receivers, many fantasy football owners echo this same sentiment. Change is needed as a handful of stud wideouts (Brandon Marshall, Plaxico Burress, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Marques Colston, and so on) continue to struggle this 2008 season. So, with Barrack now headed to the White House, can these wide receivers turn things around in week 10? To find out, take a gander at the Bruno Boys Fantasy Football Week 10 Wide Receiver Rankings.
--------------------
1. Anquan Boldin (Arizona Cardinals) vs. San Francisco
Despite missing two games on the season, Boldin still finds himself sitting as the league leader in receiving touchdowns with 8. Boldin has accomplished that feat by catching at least one TD in all but one of the 6 games he's played in. That one game in which Boldin didn't find the end zone, week 1 against the 49ers. We expect Boldin to exact some revenge this week with multiple end zone trips.
Point Projection: 19 points
--------------------
2. Larry Fitzgerald (Arizona Cardinals) vs. San Francisco
The last time the 49ers visited Arizona, Fitz toasted them for 156 yards and 2 scores on 9 receptions. We don't expect Fitzgerald to match those numbers in this one, but with the 49ers ranked 20th against the pass, we see no reason that Leapin' Larry can't get a new double digit streak going.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
3. Roddy White (Atlanta Falcons) vs. New Orleans
White had a good deal of success last season against the Saints, going for 185 receiving yards and 2 scores in the team's two 2007 match-ups. What should be scary for the Saints is that White is even better now than he was back then. White continues his march to the upper echelon among fantasy wide receivers with at least 100 yards and a score.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
4. Steve Smith (Carolina Panthers) @ Oakland
If you don't have Steve Smith on your fantasy roster, hopefully, you got to face his owner last week because at this point and time, the only thing that can stop Smith from producing is a bye week. The wide out has averaged 117 receiving yards per game over the Panther's last three contests, a number that is definitely obtainable against the Raiders, who are giving up 216.2 passing yards per game.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
5. Braylon Edwards (Cleveland Browns) vs. Denver
Had he not gone for 14 fantasy points in week 9, chances are that Edwards would still have ranked pretty high heading into week 10 as he has a beautiful match-up, going against the Denver Broncos, a team that ranks 27th in the league against the pass. Edwards should benefit from the switch at quarterback as Brady Quinn will more than likely look to make friends with his star wide out by targeting him often in this one.
Point Projection: 16 points
--------------------
6. Calvin Johnson (Detroit Lions) vs. Jacksonville
So much for Dan Orlovsky hurting Johnson's fantasy value. In each of the four games that Orlovsky has started, Johnson has hauled in a touchdown and accounted for at least 11 fantasy points. It's obvious that Orlovsky understands the weapon he has in Johnson. Expect the young quarterback to continue to look his way, much to the pleasure of Johnson's fantasy owners.
Point Projection: 15 points
--------------------
7. Andre Johnson (Houston Texans) vs. Baltimore
Ok, Johnson may not have surpassed the century mark this past weekend, ending his streak of 100+ yard efforts at four, but the wide receiver kept his double digit fantasy point streak alive, tallying 12 fantasy points on 62 yards receiving to go along with a TD. So, we don't want to hear too much complaining from his fantasy owners. Johnson does have a tough match-up against the Ravens this week, but since Derek Anderson was able to pass for 219 yards and 2 TDs against Baltimore, we feel a little better about it.
Point Projection: 15 points
--------------------
8. Randy Moss (New England Patriots) vs. Buffalo
Randy Moss absolutely owned the Bills last season, amassing 243 receiving yards and 6 TDs in two games against Buffalo. Granted, those numbers were accumulated with Tom Brady under center, but with Moss having 51 fantasy points in the Patriots' last 5 games, we believe the Cassel to Moss connection can still post a solid game against the Bills in week 10.
Point Projection: 15 points
--------------------
9. Marques Colston (New Orleans Saints) @ Atlanta
Obviously, Colston's owners haven't gotten the type of production they envisioned when they drafted the wide receiver during their league's fantasy draft. However, week 10 could provide some consolation. With the Saints coming off a bye, Colston should be more in sync with quarterback, Drew Brees. That's great news considering the match-up as Colston went for 92 yards and 2 scores the last time the Saints and Falcons met. Look for Colston to have his first double digit day of 2008.
Point Projection: 14 points
--------------------
10. Brandon Marshall (Denver Broncos) @ Cleveland
Marshall's owners have to be wondering what happened to the wide receiver they grew to love. You know, the one that put up 3 straight double digit weeks from week 2 to week 4. Since then, Marshall has not found pay dirt and hasn't put up more than 7 fantasy points. The Browns have been solid against the pass this season, but they did slip up in week 9, allowing Joe Flacco to throw for 248 yards and 2 TDs. Look for similar numbers from Jay Cutler, which should translate to a solid day for Marshall.
Point Projection: 14 points
--------------------
11. Reggie Wayne (Indianapolis Colts) @ Pittsburgh
Yes, Peyton Manning threw for two touchdowns again in week 9, and again, like in week 8, neither of them found their way into Wayne's hands. Still, Wayne's owners have to be happy with the way week 9 played out. Wayne, who was limited in practice throughout the week, was able to go on Sunday Night. He looked healthy and put up a solid 8 fantasy points, doubling his combined total from the previous two weeks. A tough match-up looms for week 10, but as long as Wayne's on the field he should be in your line-up.
Point Projection: 14 points
--------------------
12. Laveranues Coles (New York Jets) vs. St. Louis
In the past four weeks, Coles has surpassed 6 points just once, a 12 point effort in week 8 against the Chiefs, but things should get better this week as the Jets welcome the St. Louis Rams and their 28th ranked pass defense to the Meadowlands. There's no reason that Coles shouldn't do well against this defense, which is giving up 246.2 passing yard per game to go along with 12 passing TDs on the year.
Point Projection: 14 points
--------------------
13. Greg Jennings (Green Bay Packers) @ Minnesota
After 5 straight double digit performances from week 2 to week 6, Jennings has just 10 fantasy points combined over the Packers' last two games. A match-up against division foe, Minnesota, could be what the doctor ordered to get things back on track. After all, Jennings had 91 yards against the Vikes back in week 1.
Point Projection: 14 points
--------------------
14. Plaxico Burress (New York Giants) @ Philadelphia
Let's be frank, Burress hasn't been making many friends lately, and that includes his fantasy owners, who have to be disappointed with the 12 total points Burress has put up in the last 3 weeks. The Eagles offer a nice opportunity for Burress to turn things around as Plax was able to find pay dirt against Philly in both 2007 match-ups.
Point Projection: 13 points
--------------------
15. Jerricho Cotchery (New York Jets) vs. St. Louis
Like with Coles, Cotchery's 2008 has been somewhat disappointing as the addition of Brett Favre was supposed to elevate both Jets' wide receivers' games. That hasn't quite happened yet. Though, the Jets do have some easy pass defenses left on the schedule, beginning with the Rams this week, so not all is lost.
Point Projection: 13 points
--------------------
16. Lee Evans (Buffalo Bills) @ New England
Evans managed just four fantasy points in week 9 against the Jets, tied for his lowest output on the year. Week 10 could be more of the same as the Bills head to New England to face the Patriots, a team Evans managed just 47 total yards against in two meetings last year. 2008, though, is a new year, and with his play of late, you can't bench Evans.
Point Projection: 13 points
--------------------
17. Eddie Royal (Denver Broncos) @ Cleveland
This past Sunday, Royal received 11 targets to Brandon Marshall's 9, an indication that quarterback, Jay Cutler, is more willing to spread the ball around than he was earlier this year. That will benefit Royal greatly as it is Marshall that will be seeing the double teams. Look for Royal to continue a solid rookie campaign with 60 yards and a score against the Browns.
Point Projection: 12 points
--------------------
18. Vincent Jackson (San Diego Chargers) vs. Kansas City
With the way he'd been playing, three straight double digit fantasy games, neither Jackson nor his owners could have been thrilled by the Chargers' week 9 bye. But, don't worry too much because we think Jackson will pick it up right where he left off against a Chiefs' team coming off a disheartening lost to the Bucs.
Point Projection: 12 points
--------------------
19. Dwayne Bowe (Kansas City Chiefs) @ San Diego
Week in and week out, Bowe somehow manages to salvage decent fantasy days for his owners. This past weekend, while hauling in just 2 passes for 29 yards, Bowe got his owners a quick six by crossing the goal-line on one of those receptions. It was the 7th time in 8 games that Bowe has at least hit the 8 point mark. We see no reason why he shouldn't make it 8 of 9 after this weekend's battle with the Chargers, who rank dead last against the pass.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
20. Bernard Berrian (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Green Bay
Berrian is on fire of late, notching 17, 19, 14, and 16 fantasy points in the Vikings' last 4 games. It is our advice to always ride the hot hand no matter what. So, even though Berrian hasn't been able to reach the 40 yard mark in any of his last three games against the Packers, make sure he's in your line-ups in week 10.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
21. Donnie Avery (St. Louis Rams) @ New York Jets
The rookie wide out hit a road bump this last Sunday as the Arizona Cardinals held him to just 3 receptions for 26 yards. However, there is some silver lining when you take a closer look at Avery's afternoon. Marc Bulger targeted Avery a healthy 9 times. If that number stays consistent for the rest of the season, Avery should still be worth a WR2/WR3 spot depending on the match-up. This week, we like him as a WR2.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
22. Matt Jones (Jacksonville Jaguars) @ Detroit
Owners of Matt Jones have to be praying that the NFL holds off their suspension of the wide receiver for at least one more week as Jones has a sweet match-up with the 29th ranked pass defense of the Detroit Lions. Jones has been Garrard's go-to-guy this season, with 76 targets on the year, and against the Lions that should translate into a quality outing.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
23. Muhsin Muhammad (Carolina Panthers) @ Oakland
DeAngelo Hall just made Michael Jenkins look like a pro-bowler this past weekend as the Falcons' wide out burned Hall for two touchdowns. Hall has been so bad for the Raiders, that the team has put the cornerback on waivers. The move makes an already weak Raiders' secondary even weaker. Moose should take advantage.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
24. Hines Ward (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Indianapolis
Ward posted his second straight game with less than 40 receiving yards this past week and the potential loss of Ben Roethlisberger won't be helping his cause, nor will his match-up with the Colts. All in all, it's not looking like a great week to own Ward. Still, Ward is having a solid year and is deserving of a low-end WR2 play.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
25. Torry Holt (St. Louis Rams) @ New York Jets
Perhaps it's because we want Holt to be able to turn this season around so badly that we're bumping him up to the top 25, but the 11 point fantasy effort did have Holt showing us some signs of life. He has a good shot at continuing in the right direction against the Jets, who are giving up 236.4 passing yards a game and have allowed 11 passing TDs this season.
Point Projection: 11 points
--------------------
26. Donald Driver (Green Bay Packers) @ Minnesota
In the past three weeks, Aaron Rodgers' has been looking Driver's way just as often if not more than Greg Jennings as Driver has 26 targets over that span to Jennings' 22. Driver's second half outburst in week 9, which contributed to a 136 yard and one TD outing, shows us why. The veteran wide out still has some gas left in the tank.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
27. Greg Camarillo (Miami Dolphins) vs. Seattle
Camarillo's 15 targets in week 9 might finally get some of you to notice what the Bruno Boys have noticed for some time now, Camarillo is worthy of fantasy consideration. The wide receiver is seeing 8+ passes on average per game from Chad Pennington, and if sees anywhere close to that this weekend, he should do just fine against a Seahawks pass defense that ranks 31st in the league.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
28. Chris Chambers (San Diego Chargers) vs. Kansas City
Week 8 was a perfect example of how heavily Chris Chambers' value is tied into touchdowns. Had he scored in week 8, Chambers would have had a solid 10 fantasy points, but since he was kept out of the end zone, he managed just 4 points on 47 yards receiving. The yardage just isn't there for Chambers. In fact, Chambers has surpassed the 50 yard mark just once this season. Still, with that said, when you're looking for a WR3, someone with Chambers' knack for the end zone is not a bad option to throw in there.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
29. Derrick Mason (Baltimore Ravens) @ Houston
Mason's been extremely hit or miss this season, going for 13 or more fantasy points 3 times and 5 or less fantasy points 5 times. Still, expect Mason to gain consistency as quarterback Joe Flacco continues to mature and improve. As for the 136 receiving yards he put up in week 9, we don't see that happening again in week 10, but 40 yards and a score are well within reach, especially since the Texans have already given up 12 passing TDs on the year.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
30. Santonio Holmes (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Indianapolis
Following his one week suspension, Holmes returned to the field on Monday Night. The bad news is that Holmes managed just 30 receiving yards on 3 receptions. The good news is that his 3 receptions were tied for the team lead, and Holmes managed to haul in his second TD of the season, salvaging his fantasy day.
Point Projection: 10 points
--------------------
31. Isaac Bruce (San Francisco 49ers) @ Arizona
Yes, we're aware that Bruce did not record a single catch in the Niners' first match-up with the Cardinals way back in week 1 of the season and we are aware that Bruce has been quiet on the fantasy front since his 16 point week 5 performance, but look for Shaun Hill to bring Bruce back to fantasy relevance as Hill will look to take advantage of Bruce's precise route running on numerous slants.
Point Projection: 9 points
--------------------
32. Kevin Walter (Houston Texans) vs. Baltimore
Just as he did after his previous 19 point game this season, Walter came back down to earth in week 9, totaling just 4 fantasy points. He'll continue to yo-yo as he competes for catches with Andre Johnson and Owne Daniels, but if his pattern remains consistent. He should be in store for a decent week in week 10.
Point Projection: 9 points
--------------------
33. Anthony Gonzalez (Indianapolis Colts) @ Pittsburgh
While Gonzalez is clearly the Colts' second best wide receiver right now, he won't be supplanting Harrison in that role this season unless Harrison suffers an injury. Luckily, the Colts have been going with 3 wide receiver sets more often of late in an attempt to get Gonzalez on the field. If they continue this strategy, Gonzalez could see a slight bump in his fantasy potential.
Point Projection: 8 points
--------------------
34. Nate Washington (Pittsburgh Steelers) vs. Indianapolis
Washington continues to feast on the long ball, going for 50+ yards in 5 of the Steelers' last 6 games. When looking for upside from a WR3, a guy who consistently gets solid yardage on just one or two plays is never a bad thing.
Point Projection: 8 points
--------------------
35. Devery Henderson (New Orleans Saints) @ Atlanta
Once the epitome of inconsistency, Henderson has been the most consistent wide receiver for the Saints over the past 5 weeks. Even with Colston returning to the line-up, Henderson's explosiveness should give him opportunities to put up fantasy points. Just a note, one of Henderson's 3 TDs in 2007 came against the Falcons.
Point Projection: 8 points
--------------------
36. Steve Breaston (Arizona Cardinals) vs. San Francisco
While Breaston was able to survive the return to wide receiver three duties in week 8 by nabbing 9 passes for 91 yards, he wasn't so lucky in week 9 as he managed just 39 yards on 2 receptions. Breaston's productivity is going to be much more difficult to predict now that he's once again the third option in the Cardinals' passing game, but luckily, we have some data to go off of for this match-up against the Niners as Breaston totaled 54 receiving yards against them in week 1. You could do worse with your WR3.
Point Projection: 7 points
--------------------
37. Wes Welker (New England Patriots) vs. Buffalo
In both meetings with the Bills last season, Welker was around the 70 yard mark. If that's what he did with Brady under center, we don't see any reason to think he'll have a better day with Cassell throwing him the ball.
Point Projection: 7 points
--------------------
38. Lance Moore (New Orleans Saints) @ Atlanta
On any given Sunday, any of the Saints' wide receivers can step up with a big game thanks to Drew Brees' propensity to spread the ball around. Moore was the lucky winner in week 8, going for 15 fantasy points in London. Will he be the lucky one again in week 10? To be honest, we don't think so, but the possibility alone warrants you take a chance on him when you're this far down the rankings.
Point Projection: 7 points
--------------------
39. Rashied Davis (Chicago Bears) @ Tennessee
9...10...8...12 fantasy points. It looks like Rashied Davis is turning into the poor man's Dwayne Bowe. The Bears face their first real test when it comes to the passing game in a long time this week as they match-up with the Titans, who have given up just 4 passing TDs on the year, but with Davis' recent consistency we see no way of dropping him out of the top 40.
Point Projection: 7 points
--------------------
40. Amani Toomer (New York Giants) @ Philadelphia
Toomer, who caught his second TD of the season this past weekend, will be a valuable tool to Eli Manning in week 10. While Plaxico will be running the deep routes, Toomer and Steve Smith, will work the underneath routes. These underneath routes are the ones Eli Manning will need to take advantage of in the face of the Eagles' blitzes.
Point Projection: 7 points
--------------------
41. Steve Smith (New York Giants) @ Philadelphia
See Amani Toomer above and flip a coin on who gets the WR2 production in New York.
Point Projection: 6 points
--------------------
42. Kevin Curtis (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. New York Giants
Curtis doubled his fantasy production from his first week back in game number 2, this time going for 8 fantasy points. He'll have a tough time doing that again this weekend. In fact, against the Giants and their 2nd ranked pass defense, he'll fail even to match his week 9 output.
Point Projection: 6 points
--------------------
43. Marvin Harrison (Indianapolis Colts) @ Pittsburgh
Speaking of doubling, Harrison more than doubled his yardage from weeks 7 and 8 during the Colts' week 10 match-up with the Patriots. Sadly, that left him with just 50 receiving yards. Already having passed the torch to Reggie Wayne, Harrison may be getting ready to pass another to Anthony Gonzalez by the time 2008 is done.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
44. Ted Ginn Jr. (Miami Dolphins) vs. Seattle
That 175 yard outing was very short lived as Ginn followed it up with just 38 yards against the Denver Broncos. Greg Camarillo is by far the better choice if you're going to roll with a Dolphins' wide out, but a match-up with the Seattle Seahawks keeps Ginn somewhat fantasy relevant.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
45. DeSean Jackson (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. New York Giants
How many Jackson owners' do you think thought about investing in Kevin Curtis and Reggie Brown voodoo dolls? We're just kidding with you as we full well know it's never nice to wish harm on a player, but with the returns of Curtis and Brown, Jackson is going to find it a whole more difficult to put up fantasy points as we all know Donovan McNabb loves to spread the love around.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
46. Reggie Brown (Philadelphia Eagles) vs. New York Giants
Brown caught just one pass in week 9, but he made the most of it by finding the end zone. Still, we're not going to be swayed by one reception. In fact, make that one target as that's the only pass Brown had thrown his way. Until Brown works himself back into the offense a bit more, keep him stashed on your bench.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
47. Michael Jenkins (Atlanta Falcons) vs. New Orleans
Raise your hand if you had Michael Jenkins in your week 9 fantasy lineup? If so, email us proof and we will send you out a prize. Honestly, Jenkins' career day went to waste and his 18 fantasy points shouldn't be expected from those of you who snagged him on the waiver wire. Even if he takes on the Saints and their 25th ranked pass defense.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
48. Jerry Porter (Jacksonville Jaguars) @ Detroit
When a quarterback, who knows how to limit turnovers and has 5 TDs to just 1 INT in his last 5 games, goes up against a pass defense that has allowed 13 passing TDs while only snagging 2 INTs, it usually means good things are in store for the quarterback's team. That's the exact situation we have in Detroit this weekend as the Lions' futile pass defense will try to stop David Garrard. The Lions won't be successful, which is good news for Porter.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
49. Sidney Rice (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Green Bay
In the Vikings first meeting with the Packers back in week 1, Rice did have 31 yards and a score; however, a lot has changed since then - Rice's season has been derailed by injuries, Bobby Wade has emerged as competition for the Vikings' number two wide out slot, and Gus Frerotte has taken over for Tarvaris Jackson, developing a nice rapport with Bernard Berrian. Needless to say, we liked Rice's chances for a solid fantasy outing better in week 1 than we do now.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
50. Justin McCareins (Tennessee Titans) @ Chicago
It's hard to put up points as a wide receiver for the Titans due to the team's domineering run first philosophy. Don't believe us? Just ask McCareins, who hasn't been able to put up more than 6 fantasy points in a game this season.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
51. Dennis Northcut (Jacksonville Jaguars) @ Detroit
Northcut did see 6 targets this past weekend. Unfortunately, those 6 targest resulted in just 29 yards. If guys like Devery Henderson are deep ballCassel threats, Northcut would be more your singles hitter. That's not good for fanttargetsasy purposes.
Point Projection: 5 points
--------------------
52. Koren Robinson (Seattle Seahawks) @ Miami
The fact that Robinson even makes our list is a true indication of just how bad the Seahawks receivers have been this year. Last week Robinson hauled in a 90 yard touchdown reception on the Seahawks first possession but could only muster 15 receiving yards the rest of the game. Consider his week 9 production a flash in the pan.
Point Projection: 4 points
--------------------
53. Mark Clayton (Baltimore Ravens) @ Houston
Always known as a talented receiver, Clayton put it all together in week 9 and finished with 87 receiving yards to go along with a 47 yard touchdown reception. What is note worthy about last week is that Clayton saw 11 targets from quarterback Joe Flacco and if the Ravens continue to throw the football down the field we could see more of the same. Consider him a deep sleeper heading into the second half of the season.
Point Projection: 4 points
--------------------
54. Roscoe Parrish (Buffalo Bills) @ New England
Last week Parrish hauled in a season high 51 receiving yards and did a good job filling in for injured wide out Josh Reed. He will act as the WR2 in Buffalo against this week and should be able to post around 35-45 receiving yards.
Point Projection: 4 points
--------------------
55. Shaun McDonald (Detroit Lions) vs. Jacksonville
Over the past two weeks McDonald has shown flashes of his 2007 season in which he had 79 receptions. In that span McDonald has 11 receptions for 133 receiving yards to go along with a touchdown but it's the fact that he splits targets with Mike Furrey that make him a stretch play each week.
Point Projection: 4 points
--------------------
56. Devin Hester (Chicago Bears) @ Tennessee
Hester is a play maker but still raw when it comes to being a true wide receiver. Taking on a Titans pass defense that has allowed just four passing touchdowns on the season has us believing he will be just a yardage play this week. And with teams kicking away from him thus far he has little value as a return man this year.
Point Projection: 4 points
--------------------
57 Brandon Stokley (Denver Broncos) @ Cleveland
With Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal healthy it clearly cuts into the production of Brandon Stokley. The veteran wide out had just two receptions for 18 receiving yards in week 9 but what keeps him on our list is the fact that he was targeted seven times in that game. Still, he is the fourth option on his own team and his value is minimal.
Point Projection: 3 points
--------------------
58. Josh Morgan (San Francisco 49ers) @ Arizona
Morgan has shown flashes of producing in the NFL but take a wait and see approach before you start using him in fantasy football. Prime example, Morgan had 14 fantasy points in week 7 and was heavily used as a plug-n-play in week 8, only to go without a catch. With the 49ers likely having to throw in the second half he will get some points, but nothing to take a gamble on.
Point Projection: 3 points
--------------------
59. Brandon Jones (Tennessee Titans) vs. Chicago
First things first, we don't condone the usage of any Titans wide receivers but Jones does have back to back games in which he has hauled in four receptions. Tennessee has passed for just four touchdowns and 8 games and remarkably just one of those has gone to a wide receiver. Stay far, far away even if Chicago can't defend the pass.
Point Projection: 3 points
--------------------
60. Bobby Engram (Seattle Seahawks) @ Miami
We have permanently changed his name to Bobby "Bust" Engram. Bad offense or not, Engram has just 15 receptions for 129 receiving yards in five games and is having trouble getting consistent targets from quarterback Seneca Wallace. The match up against a Dolphins defense which allows 242 passing yards per game is favorable, but nothing make us believe Engram can turn his season around.
Point Projection: 3 points
--------------------
61. Bobby Wade (Minnesota Vikings) vs. Green Bay
Part of this ranking has to do with the match up, as the Packers rank 5th in the NFL against the pass and the other half has to do with the fact that Sidney Rice is back in the mix. Despite having just 19 receiving yards in week 9, we feel that Wade should reach 35-40 in week 10 and we like his match ups in weeks 12 to 16.
Point Projection: 3 points
--------------------
62. Mike Furrey (Detroit Lions) vs. Jacksonville
Since the departure of Roy E. Williams the stock of Furrey has risen but it's still nothing to rely on. He shares targets with Shaun McDonald, plays in a bad offense and his fantasy outlook looks fuzzy with match ups against Carolina, Tampa Bay and Tennessee on the horizon.
Point Projection: 2 points
--------------------
63. Brandon Lloyd (Chicago Bears) @ Tennessee **Check Status**
Lloyd has missed four straight games because of a knee injury but reports are indicating this is the week that he gets back in action. Even if he does play Lloyd has two things going against him; the match up is bad and it will take him a game or two to get back up to playing speed. Stay away for the time being, but put him on your radar as the Bears take on soft pass defenses in weeks 12 to 15.
Point Projection: 2 points
--------------------
64. Jerheme Urban (Arizona Cardinals) vs. San Francisco
Urban is probably not on your radar but it's worth noting that he had two straight 50+ receiving yard games. We don't expect him to possess fantasy value moving forward but keep an eye on his production if you're in the deepest of deep leagues.
Point Projection: 2 points
--------------------
65. Jason Hill (San Francisco 49ers) @ Arizona
The 49ers should spend a good portion of Monday Night throwing the football and Hill (see week 8) fits into quarterback Shaun Hill's style of play but is it really worth considering the fourth option on a 2-6 football team?
Point Projection: 2 points
--------------------
WEEK 10 BYE WEEK WIDE RECEIVERS
TJ Houshmandzadeh (Cincinnati Bengals) - BYE
Housh's season so far is easy to sum up - a whole lot of catches, not a whole lot of yards.
--------------------
Chad Johnson (Cincinnati Bengals) - BYE
His 2 TDs in week 9 were equal to the amount of end zone trips he took in the first 8 weeks of the season. You'd think 2008 would be a better year for OCHO-cinco.
--------------------
Chris Henry (Cincinnati Bengals) - BYE
I'm hoping this is the last time we have to mention Chris Henry this season, though an incident with the police is always a possibility.
--------------------
Terrell Owens (Dallas Cowboys) - BYE
T.O. isn't happy with the current quarterback situation in Dallas, but in all honesty, who would be? I mean, other than opposing defenses.
--------------------
Roy E. Williams (Dallas Cowboys) - BYE
Who would have thought that in leaving Detroit for Dallas, Williams was actually going to a worse quarterback situation?!
--------------------
Patrick Crayton (Dallas Cowboys) - BYE
No Tony Romo. Occupying the third wide receiver slot. Yea, it's not looking good for Patrick Crayton in the world of fantasy football.
--------------------
Antonio Bryant (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - BYE
A part of me is just a little bit sad that it's Antonio Bryant that's replaced the classy Joey Galloway in Tampa Bay.
--------------------
Joey Galloway (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - BYE
Is this the farewell tour? A limited role out of the bye week might be an indication that it is.
--------------------
Ike Hilliard (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) - BYE
With Galloway back and Bryant emerging as the Bucs' number one wide out, Hilliard will be left out in the cold.
--------------------
Santana Moss (Washington Redskins) - BYE
Moss enters the bye week as a top 10 fantasy wide receiver but has struggled in three of his last 5 games and has some tough match ups in the fantasy playoffs. Perhaps you should deal him while his value is high for a receiver with a better week 14 to 16 schedule.
--------------------
Antwaan Randle El (Washington Redskins) - BYE
Randle El is expected to set a career high in every major category but touchdown receptions and has served as a solid 4-5 point option on a weekly basis. Still, he only value comes in PPR leagues.
