• PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: FedEx Cup Round 1 - The Barclays - Ridgewood Country Club - Paramus, NJ

  It's the Playoffs, and if you're not pumped for this, then you have no soul. I'm kidding, but the Playoffs are why we watch any sport, and even though it's just in its second year, and there's no Tiger; we're looking at the same thing. This year, The Barclays moves from it's traditional Westchester Country Club to Ridgewood in Paramus, NJ (kind of like the Jets and Giants). Ridgewood provides its own challenges; but it's far from an impossible course. Greens are measuring... • PGA Busts of the Week: Wyndham Championship - Sedgefield Country Club - Greensboro, NC

  Man, I am all done going against my gut on picks this season. Every time I do, I get burned in a big way, and this week is no exception as I went 0-for-the-week this week, which is only the third time that has happened this year. Yes, none of my three picks made the cut. One I was genuinely surprised with, and two I'm pretty much kicking myself for. • PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Wyndham Championship - Sedgefield Country Club - Greensboro, NC

  Ok, first and foremost; to the PGA, screw you. This is the Greater Greensboro Open, and how dare you change the name. With that out of the way, I can now continue in peace. This course (Sedgefield) last hosted the GREATER GREENSBORO OPEN 31 years ago (Al Geiberger won). It's a Donald Ross course, but it only plays at just under 7,000 yards, making it one of those "non-exclusionary" courses that doesn't shut out the shorter hitters. The par-70 course features small, undulating greens... • PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em - RBC Canadian Open - Glen Abbey Golf Club - Oakville, Ontario, Canada

  It's time for the unofficial second half of the PGA Tour Season, and while the first half has been full of plenty of drama and storylines; the second half should have that and then some. The FedEx Cup Playoffs will be starting in just a few weeks and, unlike last year (and although he still technically leads the points standings), there will be no Tiger involvement, meaning the $10 million prize is really up for grabs. • PGA Busts of the Week: AT&T National - Congressional Country Club - Bethesda, MD

  For as many solid rounds as there were with the favorable weather conditions this week, there were just some other tournament performances that were positively head scratching. Some of them could possibly be contributed to old age and exhaustion, although they'd probably be upset that I'm making excuses for them if they read this.   Last week was not one of my stellar weeks in Start 'Em Sit 'Em land. The general rule in that article was, take what I wrote and do the exact opposite. We did, I think, learn a few things, however. First off, Jim Furyk is not a dependable pick anymore for your Fantasy team. He's far too inconsistent to count on, and even on the easiest courses (like last week) he's simply not competing. • PGA Top Tournament Performances: Buick Open – Warwick Hills and Country Club – Grand Blanc, MI

  This week proved to be as expected; low scoring with a lot of drama on Sunday. This was a week when par was a bad score, and there were many in the field this week who took advantage of that; some more than others. This week's Top Tournament Performances will feature three of the more "veteran" players on Tour, all over 40; including one who is one some kind of serious streak, and it's about time folks stand up and take notice. • PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Travelers Championship - TPC River Highlands - Cromwell, CT

  It's impossible to feel a letdown and overlook this week after the amazing finish to the U.S. Open we just witnessed; heightened by the two simultaneous fantastic storylines that went along with it. But, the Fantasy season stops for no one, and while we may not see Tiger for some time (maybe until the British if that knee is doing what I think it is) there are only about 200 other golfers looking to claim a sweet purse of over $1 million to make up for the pain of not winning a week ago. • PGA Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial - Colonial Country Club - Ft. Worth, TX

  The Tour this week moves to one of the classic courses on Tour. Colonial has been a part of the PGA for over a half-century, and its genius is in its simplicity. It's not an especially long course (a little over 7,000 yds), but it's very technically challenging, and it all comes down to one word; trees. There are trees everywhere on this course, and the layout demand that they all come into play. To score very well, you have to cut the multiple doglegs and drill it down the middle of an almost... • PGA Start 'Em Sit 'Em: AT&T Classic - TPC Sugarloaf - Duluth, GA

  The AT&T Classic (formerly the BellSouth Classic), was traditionally the "Tune-Up Tournament" before the Masters. It's a similar (albeit easier) course, and it used to draw the best talent around. This year, coming after the TPC, the exact opposite is the case. This will be a weak field, and it will be up to the top echelon of the tournament to produce, and anything less will be a disappointment. • PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: EDS Byron Nelson Championship - TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas- Irving, TX

  The TPC Four Seasons underwent a massive overhaul since the last Tournament there (won by Scott Verplank). The re-construction project cost about $10 million and took until just a few weeks ago (after all the grasses grew) until it was ready to go. Last year's version of the course was panned by most pros, referred to as a "bumpy brown mess" by some. D.A. Weibring, with the help of active golfers J.J. Henry and Harrison Frazar, and also the help of a 100+ PGA Tour golfer survey, created... • PGA Start 'Em Sit 'Em - Verizon Heritage - Harbour Town Golf Links - Hilton Head Island, SC

  Now is not the time for a Masters hangover, whether you're a golfer or a Fantasy player, you can't let up now. While the Masters is likely considered the Super Bowl of Golf, it's hardly the end; it's more of the beginning. It's the beginning of the real golf season and it starts at a little favorite course of mine called "Harbour Town" (mainly because I've actually played Harbour Town before, unlike pretty much every other course on Tour). • PGA Start 'Em Sit 'Em: Arnold Palmer Invitational - Bay Hill Club and Lodge - Orlando, Florida

  It's one of the bigger and more prestigious tournaments of the season; it's Arnie's Tournament from the awesome Bay Hill, which means a one Mr. Eldrick Woods will be making his long-awaited return to the Tour this week. Obviously, you'll probably want to start him. Phil will be in Orlando this week as well, so that's your A-Group. Vijay will be there as well, so even if you don't like Tiger or Phil, Vijay's there. A-Group is locked up this week, so your week will be won...
