  Well, this is a week for the feel good stories of the last year weeks to take a week off to slack apparently. That's going to be the focus this week; there were no excuses. Weather was perfect, conditions were great and all-in-all the field wasn't very strong. These two (and there will only be two this week) were the two big stories of the Fall Series, each appearing to "secure" their cards for 2009. • PGA Tournament Busts: Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital Open - TPC Summerlin - Las Vegas, NV

  You take the good with the bad, I suppose, but excuses are few and far between this week for these three; the bustiest busts that ever busted. Well, that is, that busted this week. Anyway, this week's list includes a couple of golfers that are battling for a spot in the top-125; and the other was the highest ranked golfer in the tournament.   It's funny, there always just seems to be the same simply maddening players week after week that perform below expectations. And you'd think I would learn after a while, but no, myself (and others) continue to pick these guys week after week; and a lot of times it's a very reasoned argument.   As we cap off the end of the traditional Tour season, it's been a year of great performances, and some pretty bad ones; including some of the more epic chokes in Tour history. • PGA Tournament Busts: FedEx Playoffs Round 3 - BMW Championship - Bellerive Country Club - St.Louis, MO

  It was a struggle for everyone this week. The weather played havoc with the schedule, and they finally had to squeeze 36 holes in on Sunday. Some, like Camilo Villegas, handled that. Some, like the folks on this list, didn't. You saw a couple folks jump into the top-30 this week, and you saw some virtual locks drop out of it. • PGA Tournament Busts: RBC Canadian Open - Glen Abbey Golf Club - Oakville, Ontario, Canada

  For every great story that happens in golf; you have to wonder if there's an equal and opposite head-scratching story that happens as well. In some cases, players had been playing well and were primed to perform. In others, it's simply a question of "What Happened?" Glen Abbey turned out to be a pussycat rather than a lion this week; the rain softened the course up dramatically. That virtually negated the nearly foot-long primary cut of rough. • PGA Tournament Busts: The Players Championship - TPC Sawgrass - Ponte Vedre Beach, FL

  Well, well, well; it appears that the "experts" really just make things up as they go along; leaving your Fantasy picks high and dry. I attempted to warn you about this phenomenon over the last few weeks, and I hope you took my advice. Honestly, no one could have foreseen the top three (Garcia, Goydos, Quinney) this week; the last two coming out of nowhere (although I honestly considered Quinney as one of my sleepers: it was between he and Perry, and I chose Perry), and the winner finally...
