  This story has more twists than a mountain switchback. According to The New York Times , Jerry Reese has claimed that if Plaxico Burress was able to dodge his legal issues and come out of it without substantial jail time (or any) and be ready to dedicate himself to a professional and honorable lifestyle, the New York Giants might be willing to take him back...   In case you all have not heard yet, the New York Giants organization suspended Plaxico Burress for four games for conduct detrimental to the team and placed on the non-football injury list.   It seems that the Brandon Jacobs saga continues to unfold.   Unfortunate news, Giants fans. Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is reporting that Michael Strahan is going to stay retired and not join the Giants for the 2008 season. • Mario Manningham Signs with Giants

  The New York Giants third round draft pick, Wide Receive Mario Manningham, has officially signed with Big Blue. The full details of the contract have not yet been released, but sources are revealing (courtesy of Ralph Vacchiano) that Manningham is locked in to a deal with the G-Men that will keep him in East Rutherford for four years. The only other tidbit was that he will receive some pretty notable bumps in his fourth year. This comes as great news as training camp is now less than two weeks away...
