• Another Manning Playing for the Giants?

  I went through each team's first round of roster cuts yesterday, not expecting to find anyone that could help out the Giants this season. However I approached my Chicago Bears source and came across a name that made my eyebrows raise a bit. 27 year old cornerback Ricky Manning Jr. is currently unemployed after sliding down the Bears depth chart. Why would I want to bring in a castoff of a team that lacks depth at corner? Manning simply never fit into the Cover 2 scheme that was in place in Chicago... • A Giants Reality Check

• Giants Stay All Business

  It can not be said enough how well the Giants have gelled as a team this year, not only on the field, but off as well. On gameday, the Big Blue boys have been coming together and playing as a team. Perhaps that is due to the changes in Coughlin's coaching style (see: Leadership Council), or maybe it has to do with the fact that Princess Barber has left the building. In any case, even the locker room scene is much more business oriented and team-focused. What impresses me the most is the attitude... • Giants New & Notes -- 01/10/08

  Well, ladies and gentlemen, Sunday is quickly approaching. The Giants will have their close encounter of the third time with the Cowboys in only three days. While the spread between 7.5 and 8 points, the G-men continue to approach their 92nd matchup against "America's Team" (or is that on loan to the Patriots now?) as underdogs.
