• Who Will Be a Giant Surprise in '08?

  I'm sure I am not alone on this one. Without Corey Webster's level of play in the postseason, the chances of the Giants defense shutting down opposing offenses led by Pro-Bowl QB after Pro-Bowl QB would have been slim. • Would Sammy Knight Make the Giants too Strong at safety?

  No, not that kind of strong. I am not under the impression the soon to be 33 year old, 12 year veteran is going to make the team's weakest unit too strong performance-wise. When I say "strong" I am talking about the strong safety position. James Butler was the team's #1 SS this past season and rookie Michael Johnson backed him up, getting into a few games. • Giants Defensive Backs Deserve Commendation

  No, the New York Giants did not have to deal with a healthy and typically lethal Joey Galloway on Sunday. However, with only a handful of blown coverages in the past few games, this defensive secondary has proved to be an impressive group.
