  Speed kills in fantasy baseball. Stolen bases are hard to come by because it seems like players are so inconsistent with them. One year a guy will have 50 steals, but the next year he'll only have 30. This week there were guys running all over the base paths and it was quite a spectacle.   Centerfield has been a very exciting position for fantasy baseball this week. There are no real superstars in this article, but there are some great all around players.   This has been a very good week for centerfielders. The number one centerfielder this week was a guy who normally plays any outfield position when someone needs a break. He definitely earned his playing time by putting up terrific numbers. Then there is Lastings Milledge who was traded from the Mets for Brian Schneider and Ryan Church.   The centerfield position finally seems to have a great blend of power, speed, and average. Torii Hunter's solid week definitely helps that. Nate McLouth also contributed with his week.   It seems that the centerfield position always has that one player who comes from nowhere and puts up great numbers, but then that player isn't seen again for a while.   What a rough week for center fielders. It wasn't exactly easy picking the best performers because there was a lot of mediocrity this week. Several star players failed to do anything worthwhile, but it seemed like the lesser players didn't even try too hard to take advantage of that and have a big week themselves.   The centerfield position was very strong this week. It wasn't exactly the players you would have expected, save for Beltran since he's been hot lately, but the others were extremely solid this week and helped several fantasy owners.
