• MLB Busts of the Week - Week 22

  The most hurtful thing to fantasy owners are injuries. The second most hurtful thing is inconsistency. This week there was a little bit of both. Jimmy Rollins opened his mouth, again, and basically bashed the Phillies fans. Not a smart thing to do. It seems to have definitely effected him because he's been in a horrible slump. As for the injuries part, look no further than John Maine. He's trying to pitch through a bone spur, but things don't look good. As for the rest, that is inconsistency...   This has been an extremely exciting week for fantasy baseball. There were some insanely dominant performances this week. • MLB Top Weekly Performances – Left Fielders

  Left field seems to be a much friendlier fantasy position over the last few years. More and more players are qualifying for the position, but there are still only a handful of players that can be considered elite left fielders.   If there are top performances every week, there has to be busts of the weeks. It balances out the baseball universe. If one player does well, another does badly. If one player does awesome then, well, you end up with busts. Some are permanently attached to this list this year, others just try to come and go quickly.   Not much came out of left field this past week except for two fantastic performances. All three top weekly performers are well known and you shouldn't be surprised to see them here.
