Well, I rebounded nicely from last week with
six
cars in the top 20 ... which did include another winner.
Clint Boyer wound up with a solid finish of 12th
after having to serve a penalty early for passing a driver before the
start/finish line.
David Ragan was not a factor all race long, but finished in
the top ten. Casey Mears finished a solid 14th, but led some laps to
help boost his score. Ryan Newman finished a solid 16th, but
did wind up a lap down at one point in this race.
Had one of the best C list driver picks in David Reutimann,
but one of the lousier picks in Dave Blaney.
A active driver:
Kevin Harvick -
This is the second time on the list for Harvick. As of late in the Sprint Cup
series this driver has pulled in nothing but top 10 finishes. He has
three top tens at this track in the past three races which is solid.
B list active drivers:
Casey Mears -
Second time on this list for Mears. He did what I wanted him to do last week,
so I am going to try him out again at this track. In the past two races
at this track he has pulled in top ten finishes.
Ryan Newman -
Fifth time on this list for Newman. He does have four top tens in the past six
races at this track which is really solid. I think he stays out of
trouble and has another solid finish at this track.
C list active driver:
Travis Kvapil -
This is the sixth time on the list for Kvapil. He does has some of the best
data for a C list driver, but has only three starts in the past six races at
this track. All C list drivers are a gamble at this place.
Sleeper picks.
Tony Stewart -
I am going to say that this driver is even a bit of a gamble with the problems
Joe Gibbs drivers have had as of late. In the past six races he does have
three top ten place finishes.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.
- He finished 10th the last time he came to this track and his
Sprint Cup performance as of late has not been that bad. If you think
that he is going to stay out of trouble he will wind up with another solid
performance at this track.
Michael Waltrip -
His performance as of late on this track has not been special at all.
Michael Waltrip cars have been running better as of late. He has a solid
amount of experience at these tracks and I think he can stay out of trouble
enough to get a solid finish.
