• NASCAR Crown Royal Presents the Dan Lowry 400 Expert Picks

  A quick overview of my picks from Talladega: If it were not for all the leading that Tony Stewart did, his pick would have been a complete bust for me. He was a super pick until his tire blew. David Reutimann and Michael Waltrip did OK, but not great. Jamie McMurray and Greg Biffle did OK, but not great. Jeff Gordon was OK, not great. Kevin Harvick was just OK as well, not great.   A list active driver pick: Tony Stewart : Stewart makes it onto my list for the first time this year. He is seventh in the points so far which is great. He also has a 13.33 average finish over the past six races which is also great as well. B list active drivers: Greg Biffle : This is Biffle's econd time on the list for me.   Okay NASCAR Fantasy junkies I have a deeper look at my Phoenix picks due to the Sprint Cup drivers being off for a second time this year. It was a mix bag worth of picks this time around and this is not good at all. Jeff Burton finished sixth place at Phoenix which I can't say is bad. He also scored 80 points which is also good.   1) Jeff Burton (Previous position: 1st )-Stays out in front as my hottest driver with his lead in the Sprint Cup standings and having a better finish than Dale Jr. 2) Dale Earnhardt Jr .(Previous position: 2nd ) -- Stays in second place with his seventh place finish at Phoenix.   1) Jeff Burton (Previous position: 2 nd ) - Having a better finish than Dale Jr. gets this driver in to the top spot. Also keeping the top spot in the points also helps as well. 2) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 1 st ) - Finishing a solid twelfth place moves this driver down into the second place spot. • NASCAR Subway Fresh 500 Expert Picks

  First, I would like to say my picks overall were not that bad last week, other than for Martin Truex Jr. who had an engine blow up really late. Kasey Kahne and Elliott Sadler had okay finishes, but were not super hot in the fantasy points though. Nailed the A and C level active driver picks though. A List Active Driver: Jeff Burton - Burton is one of the best drivers at this track over the past six races and he also leads the Sprint Cup standings.   I would like to quickly say that I rebounded a bit from last week . Out of the eight picks I had, only Kyle Busch and Aric Almirola did horribly.
