  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 14

    1) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 3 rd ) - Busch retakes the first place spot in the standings with his top three finish this weekend. He still remains super hot and is still the leader in the point standings. 2) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 1 st ) - DEJ moves down one spot after finishing worse than Kyle Busch. Still third place in the points which is great. He is still hot, but not doing as well as Kyle Busch is at the moment. 3) Jeff Burton (Previous position: 5 th ) - Burton moves... Read More...
  • NASCAR Best Buy 400 Expert Picks

Well, I picked the winner of the race last week and was also close in picking the 1 st , 2 nd and 3 rd place cars in the race. All my A list picks and B list picks were solid and did what I wanted them to do. The C list picks were a different story even though over 50% of the fantasy drafts had Brian Vickers selected. He was a total failure, but led 61 laps. Travis Kvapil had a good finish for a C list driver but scored poorly compared to over C list drivers for the race. Onto the Picks ... A list... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 13

    1) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 2 nd ) - DEJ moves up to the top spot with his top ten finish in the All-Star event. He continues to stay hot. 2) Clint Boyer (Previous position: 3 rd ) - Boyer moves up one spot in the rankings due to Kyle Busch's and his bad performance at the All-Star Event. Not even close to the first place spot yet. 3) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 1 st ) - Finishing dead last in the main event of the All-Star event drops him two spots. This should be only a short... • NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 Expert Picks

A list active driver : Carl Edwards - This is Edwards' second time on this list. He has been doing great all year long on the 1.5 mile tracks and I think his streak will continue. His wins this year have come on these kinds of tracks. He also has the second best finishing average over the past six races. B list active drivers : Kasey Kahne - Third time on this list for Kahne. If you can't tell, I obviously like this driver at this track. He has two wins at this track in the past six races... Read More...

  • NASCAR: In-Depth Look At Darlington Selections

Since fantasy NASCAR is taking another week off for the All-Star Race, I figured I'd take some time to look at last week's selections , which had a couple of stinkers. I had Matt Kenseth as my A list active driver and he was able to finish second in fantasy scoring for his group. He finished in sixth place in the race after having to start in the back of the pack. Thankfully, he was one of the few who was able to give me what I was looking for. I had Greg Biffle as a B level active driver... Read More...
  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 11

    1) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 2 nd ) - Busch steals first place with his second place finish and controversial wreck at Richmond. He is certainly one hot and rowdy driver and now has the Sprint Cup points lead. 2) Clint Boyer (Previous position: 4 th ) - Boyer moves up two spots in my rankings with his win at Richmond and he also moved up three spots in the Sprint Cup standings. He was oh-so-very-very close to taking the first spot, in my opinion. 3) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 1... Read More...
  • NASCAR Dodge Challenger 500 Expert Picks

A quick look at my picks from last week: When it came to my selected drivers last week , the Sleeper Picks turned out to be more valuable than the active driver selections. For the first time all year, I had picked the highest scoring A, B, and C level driver. I will say that Denny Hamlin did well point wise even though he came in 24 th spot. Brian Vickers was a bit poor; his bad starting position was not helping him at all. He was the only bad pick, in my opinion. A list active driver: Matt Kenseth... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 10

    1) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous position: 2 nd ) - DEJ moves up one spot with his tenth place finish at Talladega. He was really great all race long and has had three top ten finishes in the past four races. 2) Kyle Busch (Previous position: 4 th ) - Busch moves into second place with his win at Talladega. He could have had first place with a better all-around performance, however. 3) Jeff Burton (Previous position: 1 st ) - Burton moves off the top of this list with his 12 th place finish at the...
