  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 30

    1) Carl Edwards (Previous Position: 2 nd ) - A third place finish for Carl Edwards moves him back into first place in my rankings. He has one of the fastest cars on the track, but a two-tire stop in the end killed his chances for the win. 2) Jimmie Johnson (Previous Position: 1 st ) - Johnson finished fifth at Dover this weekend. Led a bunch of laps while on pit strategy, but was not really a factor at all in this race. 3) Kevin Harvick (Previous Position: 4 th ) - Although he was not a factor in... Read More...

I just do not know what to say after the end the of Dover race. I wound up with three drivers in the top five which is great, but had two cars that looked like they could win the race only to stink up the joint in the end. I also had two of the best A list drivers this week which is the only major bright spot on my picks. Carl Edwards could have been the winner of the race if he took four tires. Jamie McMurray was doing so well and marched his way to the lead of the race and then he got caught in... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 29

    1) Jimmie Johnson (Previous Position: 2 nd ) - Having a slightly better finish than Carl Edwards moves him up to the top spot. He led a bunch laps in this race. 2) Carl Edwards (Previous Position: 1 st ) - Another top five for Carl Edwards keeps him high up in these rankings. He is one really hot driver now, but never had anything for the leader of the race at the end. 3) Dale Earnhardt Jr . (Previous Position: 4 th ) - Another top five finish for Dale Earnhardt Jr. moves him up one spot in my rankings... Read More...
  • NASCAR Camping World 400 Expert Picks

Yeah -- I picked another winner last week . Even better was having all A list and B list active drivers in the top 9. For the first time this season I can recall having the first three B list drivers for the week. That is some real solid picking for the start of the chase. Now onto the C list drivers. Aric Almirola finished in 18 th spot which was really solid and one of the bets C list drivers of the week. I submitted my picks on Tuesday that I stick with for the weekend and on Tuesday Joey was... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 28

    1) Carl Edwards (Previous Ranking: 1 st ) - Was not a big factor in the race, but had a solid finish. He still remains the hottest driver, in my opinion. 2) Jimmie Johnson (Previous Ranking: 4 th ) - Almost took over the first place position with his second win in a row. This driver is really making a move to say I can still win the championship. 3) Kyle Busch (Previous Ranking: 2 nd ) - Was really solid in the race until he spun out. He battled back to a 15 th place finish which is not bad at all... Read More...
  • NASCAR Sylvania 300 Expert Picks

Well, I had two drivers in the top five last week , which was not bad at all. I also had five drivers in the top 16 which is really good, but two active drivers had poor finishes. The race also marked another solid use of both Mark Martin and Denny Hamlin. I had the best C list driver this week with David Reutimann and the worst of the bunch with A.J. Allmendinger. A.J was a complete dud from the start of the race and finished in last place. David Ragan was solid until he spun out. Then a hit from... Read More...

  • NASCAR's 10 Hottest Drivers - Week 27

    1) Carl Edwards (Previous Position: 1 st ) - Another top ten finish for Carl Edwards, was not a factor at all in the race though. Not much to say on this driver this week. 2) Kyle Busch (Previous Position: 2 nd ) - Busch finished one spot worse than Carl last night. He still finished in the top ten and is still the leader in the Sprint Cup points. The top two are just on fire as of late 3) Matt Kenseth (Previous Position: 4 th ) - A top five finish for Matt moves him up to third place in this standings... Read More...
  • NASCAR Chevy Rock And Roll 400 Expert Picks

I had another solid group of picks last week , but did select one "bust." Kyle Busch was not a factor in this race and finished in the top ten. Jeff Gordon qualified in the top four, did lead a lap, but was not a factor at all and finished in 15 th . I was expecting more out of him. I also had one of the best C list drivers in Brian Vickers. Using the first two sleeper picks would have been the way to go this week. Jimmie Johnson and Greg Biffle finished in the top two spots. Sam Hornish... Read More...
