  I have a soft spot in my heart for the Point Guards, mainly because it was my position in High School (and pick-up games). Often underappreciated for what they actually do on the floor; if you don't have a legit guy who can both run and control your offense, as well as sparkplug that offense if need be with offensive output, your team is going to have problems.   It seems like a lot of the All-Stars, and even some non-all-stars, slowed down a week early. The last week in basketball has been exciting for trades, but not all that exciting when it comes to watching games. I have one regular on here, and two guys who are new (I believe). • NBA Top Weekly Performances: Point Guards - Week 11

  The Point Guard position requires excellent ball-handling skills and leadership. The PG runs the offense and moves the ball to the appropriate players in order to get a basket. This week, there are three guys that played above and beyond the rest of their peers.
