• PGA Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Ginn Sur Mer Classic - The Conservatory - Palm Coast, FL

  The penultimate tournament of the 2008 PGA Tour is upon us, and we move to the very underrated Space Coast of Florida to The Conservatory, a course designed by Tom Watson which is located at the Ginn Sur Mer resort. This is a monster of a course, measuring almost 7,700 yards in length. It's not much in terms of trees; but there's plenty of water around; and while scores should be threatening the -20 range; it's still not really a pushover of a course. • PGA Tournament Busts: Valero Texas Open - The Resort Course at La Cantera Golf Club - San Antonio, TX

  It's funny, there always just seems to be the same simply maddening players week after week that perform below expectations. And you'd think I would learn after a while, but no, myself (and others) continue to pick these guys week after week; and a lot of times it's a very reasoned argument. These players have a lot of talent, and should be performing to our expectations, but for whatever reason, they just don't. That is, until the week you don't pick them; then they net a top... • PGA Tournament Busts: Turning Stone Resort Championship - Atunyote Golf Club - Verona, NY

  It's hard to find true "busts" in the Fall Series, mainly because everyone is, for the most part, gunning for a Tour Card for next year. Those who are not are usually trying to cherry-pick a check, and have the tendency to get run over in the process, and that can lead to a bigger name finishing poorly. That's the situation this week; three players that by all rights should have been in the top-25 at the very least, and ended up with a four-figure paycheck at best. Lack of length... • PGA Busts of the Week: Viking Classic - Annandale CC - Madison, MS

  Believe it or not, even in a field like this one there were a fair share of busts. Mostly, it's a group of players who are far more talented than the field, and should win tournaments like this one easily. I don't know what it's a case of; going through the motions, lack of focus, or what; but I do know that these players who finish like this have a tendency to kill Fantasy teams.   Wouldn't anyone who wins this week be considered a sleeper to some degree?   For every great over-40 trifecta story in a tournament, there's an equal and opposite bust story; and that story is usually related to my mostly dreadful picks (save Perry and Pavin) this week. • PGA Weekly Sleepers: Buick Championship - Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club - Grand Blanc, MI

  This is one of those weeks where a "sleeper" is as likely to jump from the pack and win as a top-flight player. The course is, for lack of a more politically correct way to say it; ridiculously easy. Typically, this tends to favor the putters more than anything; but in reality, you can toss most of the stats out when making your picks. • PGA Top Tournament Performances: Travelers Championship - TPC River Highlands - Cromwell, CT

  You hear a lot from the inner circles of golf that fans enjoy when the Pros have to experience a "true test of golf". While that's true, and tournaments like the U.S. Open show that; there's a good portion of fans who wonder what the pros would shoot on our local MUNI course. Luckily, TPC River Highlands is a measure similar to that; especially when it rains all week making the fairways and greens ridiculously receptive. • PGA Sleepers: Travelers Championship - TPC River Highlands - Cromwell, CT

  It's tough for me to get this out to you today for a couple reasons. First, of course, was the U.S. Open finish, which is still fresh on everyone's mind; so getting into a second-level tournament less than a week later is difficult.
