• PGA Who Is He: Children's Miracle Network Classic (presented by Wal-Mart) - Magnolia and Palm Golf Courses - Buena Vista, FL

  He's ranked 511th in the World by the OWGR. He's 190th in the Money List. He's also putting on quite a show at the Children's Network Classic. He's about halfway through his second round (as we speak), and shows no signs of letting up yet. The weather in Orlando has been perfect; the courses appear easier than usual, and the scores are super-low. • PGA Who Is He: Ginn Sur Mer Classic - The Conservatory - Palm Coast, FL

  He might be the only golfer guaranteed a Tour Card next year that you haven't heard of; but this young player does have four top-10s on the year, and finds himself in a very secure 109th on the Money List. Like most younger golfers, he's still pretty inconsistent.   This week I'm going to do something I've never done before, and that's repeat the profile of one of the golfers in the Who Is He. • PGA Who Is He: Fed Ex Cup Playoffs - Final Round - The Tour Championship - East Lake Golf Club - Atlanta, GA

  East Lake busted out a little surprise for the competitors this week; drying out the greens to a tune of 12.5 on the Stimpmeter. That should raise the scores considerably (although you wouldn't know it by Anthony Kim's first round; he's got a four shot lead), and make for a more "major-like" feel to the tournament.   While the biggest names in golf prepare to tee of in Kentucky at the famous Valhalla Golf Club, there's a field of 144 players desperately vying to get into the top-125 on the Money List and secure a Tour Card for next year (and in some cases, be able to take the rest of the year off). • PGA Who Is He: FedEx Playoffs Round 3 - BMW Championship - Bellerive Country Club - St.Louis, MO

  The remnants of Hurricane Gustav destroyed the opening round of the BMW Championship. Driving rain and 40 MPH winds forced tournament officials to cancel Thursday's round completely before it even started. Now, the tournament will be squeezed into three days, 18 holes on Friday, 36 on Saturday, and 18 more on Sunday. The course is obviously waterlogged to a degree (although it appears to have drained pretty well) and that should make for some very receptive greens and some low scoring. Any Who... • PGA Who Is He: FedEx Cup Playoffs Round 2 - Deutche Bank Championship - TPC Boston - Norton, MA

  Great weather led to great golf on Thursday, and the usual suspects were sniffing around the top of the leaderboard. Vijay Singh and Ernie Els are both in the top-10, and most of the big name players are within a few shots (except for Padraig Harrington, who has fallen off the map). However, there's an interesting group sitting just one shot back, including Ben Curtis, Mike Weir and Mike Mallinger and this week's Who Is He. • PGA Who Is He: FedEx Cup Round 1 - The Barclays - Ridgewood Country Club - Paramus, NJ

  It's the playoffs, and it's palpable. Steve Stricker leads the tournament playing as you'd expect from someone whose game fits this course perfectly. Kenny Perry made a big run on Friday to slide into a T-3rd; nice to see he decided to wake up. Hunter Mahan, the first-round leader, sits in second place by himself. But, the man making the biggest noise entered this tournament at 102nd on the FedEx Cup Points list. He currently sits in a huge group in a T-6th, just five off of the lead... • PGA Who Is He: Wyndham Championship - Sedgefield Country Club - Greensboro, NC

  Interesting is probably the best way to describe the events happening at Sedgefield this week. So far, it's almost exclusively golfers who are from North Carolina, or at least have North Carolina ties who are in the top-10 of the tournament. I didn't think that course knowledge would be as huge of a deal as it appears to be (it usually isn't); but then again, the fact that this course is new to the Greater Greensboro Open Wyndham Championship, at least, new for anyone who didn't play... • PGA Who Is He: PGA Championship - Oakland Hills Country Club - Bloomfield Township, MI

  Oakland Hills is living up to everything it's cracked up to be. After two rounds, there is only one player under par (J.B. Holmes (-1)), Kenny Perry withdrew, Phil Mickelson is in the hunt, and there's a Singh in the top-10 (more on that in a bit). This, potentially, could be every bit as difficult as the U.S. (and British for that matter) Open and we've seen nothing but unpredictable finishes to this point. • PGA Who Is He: WGC Bridgestone Invitational - Firestone Country Club - Akron, OH

  It's difficult to find someone who would be worthy of a "Who Is He" profile when we're looking at a WGC event. I mean, it's the top-64 players in the World (plus qualifiers), so there's not exactly a bunch of players you don't know. However, I think I found someone. • PGA Who Is He: RBC Canadian Open - Glen Abbey Golf Club - Oakville, Ontario, Canada

  The Canadian Open has been a fun tournament to this point. Scoring has been relatively low, and Anthony Kim is the only "high profile" player in the top-10 at this point; which is exactly the kind of tournament I like.
